I've never seen so much green in my life, as I am seeing this spring, in Europe. The fields, the trees and lawns are all these incredible hues of green. Then, of course, there are all of those flowers! And, we're supposed to keep our minds on the comic? Are the gods crazed?!We are still in the studio, although the lure of French beaches does call to us. Kristophe is holding us in-house for as long as he can, to keep us to our deadline, although methinks there are some things in life we are supposed to adhere to and others should be more flexible - such as schedules. Can't convince Kristie of this, yet. He'll learn.
We have implemented the new Guestbook on our site and we hope everyone will stop by to see the new work that was put up, this month. DDM has promised he will post some things this week, as well.

Hey you two! Guess I should have read all your blog before I scurried off when I saw the words "new work". I will behave now & wait patiently until DDM puts some new work up this week. Just can't seem to contain my eagerness sometimes. What can I say? I'm still a boy at heart! Glad to see you back...
ReplyDeleteBack? We haven't left, yet, unfortunately. However, we are planning a jaunt down to the coast, in two weeks, if the world forces will allow such a treat. If I don't put my toes in wet sand soon, the world will suffer, I fear.

ReplyDeleteIt would be nice if you had a "What's New" listing which links to new or changed parts of the site. While it's always a pleasure to check up on Kristie's, err the school's endowment and curriculum, being on dial-up can make reloading each section to check for new material an exercise in frustration. (I'm enjoying immensely what you're sharing on ComicsSpace too.)
ReplyDeleteAlso consider "teasers" excerpted from the books as they become available. A panel or two here and there from various pages would whet rather than satiate our appetite for, uh, fine art. [grin]

ReplyDeleteWe have considered putting up pages, and, experience in marketing has taught me that this can be a double-edged sword. Once you have a taste of white chocolate, do you not crave more? So, for now, we will offer our play and practice images, in the hopes that everyone will enjoy them as they are, and the newness of what we finally publish will be fresh and a pleasure to behold. We hope ... and pray ... and, well, you know.
As for the dial-up dilemma, I fully understand that it can be a test of patience to wait for a dial-up connection, but we will not be adding a 'What's New' segment to our website. However, we do feel your pain, so what I will do is review what we will be adding, and the folders in which they will be placed, and try to note our updates on the blog, or on the 'Guestbook.' Perhaps this will help? And, for the first taste of how this can work, I would keep my eye on the 'The Boys of St. Precocious' folder, over the weekend. It may prove interesting.
